Time to Stand Out

Time is running very fast. I didn’t notice that third grading period was over and fourth grading period is coming. This grading period, I have learned a lot making webpages using Microsoft FrontPage, working with different tags, on how to linking one webpage to another webpage and specially those HTML files.

This grading period is not easy for me, but in this grading period I have a lot of great experience. It is my first time to attend a regional competition that is the Regional STEP Development and Competition held at Mangaldan, Pangasinan. There, I competed in cocktail mixing and I have developed my self confidence by having exposed to public.

I want this coming fourth grading period that I will never rush my projects, because in the third grading period I only do my projects before the deadline. I should manage my time so that next time that we will past our projects, I will past it on time.

There are those things that we cannot learn inside the classroom.

True Meaning of Christmas

The most awaited season of the year is the Christmas season. It is the time for us to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ.

Do you know the real essence of Christmas? Let’s think of what real Christmas is. Jesus Christ was born on the 25th day of December. We celebrate it in many ways. Some people don’t even know the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas for them is time for receiving gifts. It is the time for them to have much food to eat. It is the time for them to have their caroling to their ninongs and ninangs. And the time for them to have their Christmas decors and Christmas trees in their houses. But are these the true spirit of Christmas? For me the real meaning of is sharing. Sharing what you have to others. Give love to others and your love to your family. Also forgive those people who committed sin to you. What matters most is you have your family during Christmas day.

Don’t forget what Christmas is for. Christmas is the time for sharing and loving.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND AFESTIVE NEW YEAR!!!

Blessing in Disguise

The prestigious 8th STEP development and competition was held at Mangaldan National High School, Mangaldan, Pangasinan on November 22-25, 2009. Different skills of many students came from different division have shown and competed in this important event. In any competition, there are winners and also non-winners.

Because of this competition, I have gained new friends and now I am more confident than before. Let me tell to you my experiences from first day up to the last day that we were in pangasinan. On the 1st day, after we have just arrived, we attended the opening program at their gymnasium. At night we spent our time by playing cards and playstation portable. The second day in the morning, we have to buy some materials in building up our bazaar. My new friends and I went to their market. We took a long time in looking for it. After we have already bought all the materials, we went to their church, park and their municipal hall. On the third day, the day that I have waiting for, I will be competing in the cocktail mixing. I felt a little bit pressure and nervous during the competition. My coach and my teammate told me that I’m on the top three because of my good performance. In the afternoon, we went to CSI Lucao to have fun. We enjoyed playing at World of Fun and we have our dinner at Shakey’s for free! And for the last day, the awarding day for the winners, I am very confident that I’m on the second place. But during the awarding my name wasn’t called. We were shoked. I was very disappointed of what have happened. I will now stop here its too long for me to tell you all my experiences there.

Even though I’m not the winner, in my own way still I’m champion.

“Through these I learned”

Learning is a life-long process of gaining knowledge and skills. Each day we have been learned a lot from our experiences.
As the days pass by, I didn’t notice that it was almost the end of the second quarter. In our T.L.E. IV I have learned a lot such as, HTML, Tags and other things we see at the web page. I have learned a lot not only in T.L.E. IV but also in my everyday life. First, I learned how to play the scrabble. Before, I do not know how to play this game. Scrabble was added to the intramural games so my classmate brought their scrabble and plays it in our classroom. Luckily, I’m the one who competed during our intramural meet. Second, I learned to control myself from being a computer addict, because before my day wasn’t completed if I didn’t sat down with my computer. But now I moderately used my computer and I only used when it is needed. Last, I learned how to spend my money wisely. I have also encountered some difficult problems but I addressed those by studying hard, listening pieces of advised from my friends family and praying to God.
Problems are not hindrance to our success so we must strive hard. We must learn from our mistakes so that it will make us a better and stronger person.

"My teacher, My hero"

Teachers are very important to us, without them there are no engineers, nurses, architects, doctor, lawyer and other professions. They are my second parents, through them I can bring out my feelings and problems. They are my hero in a sense that they lost their time for their children only for helping us.
Being a teacher is not an easy job. They need a lot of patience in order to guide us intothe right way. They sacrificed a lot to make us a better person. They are giving their time with us so that we can understand the things which we don't understand. I see their efforts that cannot be paid by money. They were also understandable, they gave their whole period for us to practice whenever we have to join some contest. And their love for us which I can never equalled.
My teacher is my hero, so we must respect them, give importance understand, care and show love for them. Amd always try to have them in your heart.

Filipino language,be proud of it!

Philippines a country with 7,107 beautiful island also known as the “Pearl of the Orient Seas”.

We have many native dialects that we used all over the country namely, Iloco, Bisaya, Panggalatok and other dialects that which we do not know. These dialects make us unique, because we have only the country that has lots of language.

Language is very important in our daily life. We used this to communicate and interact with other people. Here in the Philippines we have the Filipino language as the national language. We must also consider the history of our national language, originated at Baler, Aurora and it spreads out all over the country. Manuel L. Quezon implemented Filipino language as the national language. So we must proud to use our own language because it represents our culture, traditions as well as our nationality.

Filipino language is very important to us like others, they have their own language and we have also our own language which will never fade.
